Attempt Abduction: C17-75187
 
As previously released: 
 
On April 14, 2017, at approximately 3:25 p.m., Winnipeg Police responded to the area of Selkirk Avenue and Parr Street in response to a report of an attempted abduction of an 11-year-old child. 
 
The subsequent investigation has determined that an incident did take place; however, it was not an attempted abduction and the investigation has been concluded.
 
Winnipeg Police would like to thank the public for their continued assistance and remind the public to contact the Winnipeg Police Service whenever they see something suspicious.
