Tuesday, October 10 2017 Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision - Arrest: C17-229308 On October 10, 2017 at approximately 8:00 p.m. emergency services responded to the area of Main Street and Sutherland Avenue regarding a serious motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian. An adult male was transported to hospital in critical condition and later succumbed to his injuries. The investigation has led to the arrest of an off duty Winnipeg Police officer. The Independent Investigations Unit was notified immediately and took control of the investigation.
