Stabbing: C17-256144
   
On November 12, 2017, at approximately 9:55 p.m., Winnipeg Police received a report of a male assaulted in the area Ellice Avenue and McMicken Street.
   
A 16-year-old male was walking in the area when he was accosted by a number of suspects and stabbed. He was taken to hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
   
This investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).

On November 12, 2017, at approximately 10:45 p.m., Winnipeg Police received a report of a male stabbed in the 400 block of Graham Avenue.
   
The 19-year-old male victim was treated at the scene for non-life-threatening injuries.
   
This investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
   
Investigators are pursuing the possibility that the 2 incidents are connected, however, this has not been confirmed.
