Break & Enter – Public Advisory & Investigation: C17-291381
 
On December 30, 2017, at approximately 5:45 a.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the report of a break & enter that had just occurred to a pharmacy in the 400 block of River Avenue.
 
A preliminary investigation has revealed that a significant quantity of medication was stolen:
 
- Approx. 200 pills of Oxyneo (Oxycodone)
- Approx. 300 pills of Hydromorphone
- Approx. 450 pills of Methylphenidate 
 
The Winnipeg Police Service wishes to advise the public that taking large quantities of these medications alone or in combination with other drugs or alcohol can be dangerous to your health or fatal.
 
This investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
