Serious Motor Vehicle Collision: C18-2867
   
On January 5, 2018, at approximately 1:30 a.m., emergency services personnel responded to the intersection of Osborne Street South and Woodward Avenue for a report of a serious motor vehicle collision.
   
A City of Winnipeg transit bus was travelling northbound on Osborne St. when a southbound subcompact car veered into the front of the bus. The driver, a male in his 20's, was conveyed to hospital where he remains in critical condition. The transit operator was treated and released.
   
Investigators have determined that the car had been stolen a short time earlier from a location on Pembina Highway.
