Homicide – Arrest: C18-13242

Winnipeg Police have made an arrest in the murder of Angel Sandine Beaulieu. The victim, 22, was assaulted at a residence in the 400 block of Furby St. on January 18, 2018. She succumbed to her injuries on January 21, 2018.

The Winnipeg Police Service had circulated a photo of a suspect and requested the public's assistance in locating the individual. On February 9, 2018, general patrol officers from District 3 recognized the suspect who was located in the 200 block of Dufferin Ave.

Lanessa MOSKOTAYWENENE, 18, has been arrested and charged with Manslaughter, as well as Aggravated Assault in relation to a second adult female victim. She has been detained in custody.


Motor Vehicle Collision – Investigation: C18-28250

The Winnipeg Police Service Traffic Division is investigating a collision that occurred on February 8, 2018, at approximately 12:40 p.m., in the eastbound lane of Bishop Grandin Boulevard near the Pembina Highway underpass.

The incident involved a collision between a 2007 GMC Canyon truck and a semi-truck where an elderly driver sustained non-life-threatening unjuries.

A passing motorist stopped to offer assistance. The driver was believed a male in his 20's. Investigators are hoping to speak to this individual, or anyone else that may have witnessed the accident.

This investigation is continuing by members of the Traffic Division. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
