Homicide – Investigation: C18-32093
 
The Winnipeg Police Service previously released information on a suspicious death in the 500 block of Furby Street on February 14, 2018.
 
Emergency personnel responded to a call for service at approximately 2:30 a.m. and located a deceased adult male. The Winnipeg Police Service can now confirm that the male had been stabbed.
 
The victim has been identified as Joseph Francois, a 45-year-old male of Winnipeg. 
 
This investigation is continuing by members of the Homicide Unit. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).

On February 14, 2018, at approximately 8:50 a.m., emergency personnel responded to a stabbing in the first 100 block of Charles Walk.
 
Upon arrival, an injured male was located and transported to hospital in critical condition. He was pronounced deceased a short time later.
 
The victim has been identified as Conrad Flett, a 27-year-old male of St. Theresa Point.
 
This investigation is continuing by members of the Homicide Unit. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
