Thursday, March 15, 2018   Drugs – Arrests   During the evening of March 12, 2018, members of the Street Crime Unit, along with the assistance of the Tactical Support Team, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence in the River Heights area.   Three individuals were taken into custody and an investigation has led to the seizure of a number of items including the following:   - 2,057 blotters believed to contain fentanyl/carfentanil (estimated street value of $41,140). - 48 grams of methamphetamine (estimated street value of $7,200). - Packaging materials. - Digital scale. - Mobile phones.   A 26-year-old male of Winnipeg has been arrested for:   - Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking - Fentanyl - Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking - Methamphetamine - Import a Scheduled Substance   A 24-year-old female of Winnipeg has been arrested for:   - Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking - Fentanyl - Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking - Methamphetamine   A 29-year-old female of Winnipeg has been arrested for:   - Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking - Fentanyl - Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking - Methamphetamine   They were released on Promise to Appears.   Blotters or blotting papers are small pieces of highly absorbent paper that may contain the liquid solution of a drug.
