Weapons & Drugs – Arrests: R18-34709   
In June, 2018, officers from the Winnipeg Police Service Drug Enforcement Unit initiated an investigation into drug trafficking activities of  2 Winnipeg males.

On June 13, 2018, search warrants were executed on 2 residences, 1 in the Assiniboine Park neighbourhood and 1 in Windsor Park.

As a result of the searches police seized:

 - Cocaine with a street value of $2400

 - Marihuana with a street value of $300

 - Approximatley $30,000 in Canadian currency

 - 2 non-resticted firearms

 - 2 restricted handguns
- 350 rounds of ammunition

 - Packaging material

 - 1 kilogram of suspected bath salts


     
Maran PERIC, 33, has been charged with 20 offences related to firearms and weapons possession, proceeds of crime and trafficking cocaine.

He was detained in custody.

A 34-year-old male was with numerous offences related to firearms, weapons and proceeds of crime.

He was released on a Promise to Appear.
