Canada-Wide Arrest Warrant – Michael Karas: R18-54824
   
On August 23, 2018, the Winnipeg Police Service was contacted by the Toronto Police Service to assist in the arrest of a male suspect wanted on a Canada-wide Arrest Warrant.
   
At approximately 09:00 a.m., members of the Major Crimes Unit arrested a suspect at a hotel located in the 1700 block of Sargent Ave.
   
Micheal Joseph Karas, 61, was arrested and detained. Officers from the Toronto Police Service are expected to arrive today and execute the warrant with underlying charges of:
   
   - Robbery with Firearm (x3)
   - Point Firearm (x3)
   - Wear Disguise with Intent (x3)
