UPDATE - ROBBERY INVESTIGATION – C13-112814
As previously released, on Monday, June 10, 2013 at approximately 9:30 p.m. members of the Winnipeg Police Service were dispatched to the 1st 100 block of Clayton Drive for the report of a Robbery that had just occurred.
 
Responding officers located an adult female victim suffering upper body injuries.  She was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
 
Investigation had revealed that the victim was returning home and had just parked her vehicle when she was approached by two unknown males.  The males proceeded to assault the victim and then stole her vehicle.
 
At approximately 12:30 a.m. the stolen vehicle was located in the area of Doncaster Street and Ubique Crescent and stopped without incident.  Several people were taken into custody.
 
The investigation continued by members of the Major Crimes Unit. 
 
As a result, Bashir AZIZI, 19 years & Deepanker SHARMA, 24 years, both of Winnipeg have been charged with numerous robbery related charges. 

Both have been detained at the Provincial Remand Centre.
