Sunday, June 9, 2013 COMMERCIAL ROBBERY – C13-111246 On Saturday, June 8, 2013 shortly after 10:00 p.m. members of the Winnipeg Police Service were dispatched to the 1st 100 block of Alpine Avenue for the report of a commercial robbery that had just occurred.   Attending members spoke with the 19 year old male attendant who advised that a lone male, armed with a weapon had entered the store, demanded and received an undisclosed amount of money after which he fled on foot.   The employee was not injured during the incident.   The suspect is described as: Caucasian, approximately 50 years of age, 6' in height with a heavy set build and grey hair.   The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter or the identity of the suspect(s) is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).     COMMERCIAL ROBBERY – C13-111498 On Sunday, June 9, 2013 at approximately 3:00 a.m. Winnipeg Police Service members were dispatched to a business in the 200 block of Isabel Street for the report of a commercial robbery that had just occurred.   Responding officers met with a 29 year old male employee who advised that one female and two males had entered the store.  The two males, one armed with a weapon came behind the counter at which time the armed male assaulted the clerk.  The suspects stole an undetermined amount of cash and cigarettes after which they fled the store.   The clerk suffered non-life threatening injuries during the incident.   The male suspects are described as:Caucasian, 17-18 years of age, 5'8" in height with a medium build.   The female suspect is described as: Caucasian, 18 years of age, approximately 5'6" in height with long light brown hair.   The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit.
