Sunday, June 29, 2014       Robbery and Stabbing Investigation Arrests – C14-136153 On June 29, 2014 at 12:40 a.m., emergency personnel responded to the area of Innovation Drive on the University of Manitoba Campus regarding a robbery incident involving three suspects.   The investigation has revealed that the suspects approached two males and robbed them of their property. One of the males, 19 years-old was further victimized when he was assaulted with the butt-end of an airsoft rife and stabbed in the lower body. The suspects fled and police were notified.     The victim was transported to hospital in critical condition and later upgraded to stable.   The area was contained by officers for a period of time and all three suspects were located and arrested. Weapons were seized and the victim's property was recovered.   The investigation continued by members of the West District Crime Unit.   Two 14 year-old males and a 16 year-old male are facing numerous charges.
