Suspicious Male C14-246472

Since mid-November the Winnipeg Police Service has received several reports regarding a suspicious male attending residences and asking for money stating his truck ran out of gas.
 
Although most of the incidents have occurred in the Elmwood and East Kildonan areas, similar reports have also been filed for the 2300 block of Burrows Avenue and the Riel Avenue/St. Mary's Road area.
 
The suspect male is described as: Caucasian male, approximately 50 years of age, approximately 5'8" tall with a medium build, balding and wearing prescription glasses. The male was observed to be operating a dirty white truck.
 
Members of the East District Crime Unit are attempting to identify this male. Anyone with any information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at (204)786-TIPS (8477).
