Residential Robbery Arrests C15-005451
On January 8, 2015 at approximately 7:00 p.m., three female suspects attended to a residence in the 400 block of Ross Avenue via taxi cab.
Upon arrival, one of the suspects remained in the cab while the other two attended to the home armed with weapons. After concealing their identity, the females began knocking on the door. As a 31 year-old male occupant opened the door, he was immediately attacked.
The victim was able to disarm both females however he did sustain non-life threatening injuries to his upper body. Other occupants of the home contacted police.
After being disarmed, the suspects returned with another weapon and began striking the rear door causing damage. They were not successful in gaining entry a second time and eventually fled to the awaiting cab.
Patrol and members of the Tactical Support Team responded, taking all three suspects into custody before they fled the area. Members of the Major Crimes Unit continued the investigation.
Riley Marie BROWN, 20 years old, Hillary Joelle MORRISSEAU, 22 years-old and an18 year-old female have been charged or are facing charges due to their alleged involvement: Some charges include:
Break & enter with intent
Assault with a weapon
Possession of a weapon
Disguise with intent
BROWN and MORRISSEAU were remanded into custody. The 18 year-old was released on a promise to appear.
