Warrant Arrest – C15-118094
On the morning of June 8, 2015, members of the Winnipeg Police Service, including General Patrol and the Tactical Support team attended to a residence in the 600 block of Maryland Street for a male wanted on an outstanding warrant.  Information provided was that the male may have access to firearms.
 
Attending units secured the residence and surrounding area.
 
Multiple attempts were made to contact the suspect and finally, shortly before 2:00 p.m. those attempts were successful.   A short time later, Tactical Support Team members entered the home and took the suspect into custody without incident.
 
No further information is available at this time.
 
The Winnipeg Police Service would like to thank members of the public and media for their cooperation during this incident.
