Sexual Assault Investigation – C15-117511
On June 7, 2015, shortly after midnight, members of the Winnipeg Police Service were dispatched for the report of a sexual assault.
 
Members met with the 14-year-old victim who advised that at approximately 11:30 p.m. on the 6th she had been walking in the area of Regent Avenue West and Day Street when she became separated from her friends.  It was at this time that three unknown males approached the victim and walked her into the south back lane between Regent and Melrose where they inappropriately touched her.  The three suspects were scared off when a truck came down the lane.  The victim was able to flee and make her way home where police were contacted.
 
Suspect #1 is described as: Caucasian, 18-20 years, 6' tall with a slim build and medium length hair.  He was wearing a flannel jacket
 
Suspect #2 is described as: Caucasian, 18-20 years, 6' tall with a slim build and medium length hair.  He was wearing a beanie toque and a large hoodie.
 
Suspect #3 is described as: Caucasian, 18-20 years, 6' tall with a slim build and medium length hair.  He was wearing a hoodie and carrying a gym bag.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the Sex Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter or the identity of the suspect(s) is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6245 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
