Update - Missing Person – Thelma KRULL –
C15-145099

The investigation into the disappearance of Thelma KRULL is in its' seventh day.  Units and divisions from across the Service continue to be involved in the search.

Homicide investigators have now taken the lead in this investigation however at present this continues to be a missing person investigation.

Thelma was last seen early Saturday morning, July 11, 2015.  Investigators believe that she was in the immediate area surrounding Valley Gardens Community Club / Kildonan East High School around 8:00 amthat morning.

An image of two people in the area at the same time is pictured below. While Investigators do not believe these people are suspects in the disappearance, they do want to identify and speak with them in hopes and gaining additional insight in to the events of that morning.



We would welcome hearing from anyone who was in that area Saturday morning – playing tennis, walking or going for a jog – on the off chance you saw something that could help further this investigation.

We are again requesting that anyone who has a home security camera or a business camera in the surrounding areas where KRULL was last seen to review their footage between the hours of 7:00am and 10:30am on Saturday, July 11. 

If any footage of KRULL is observed, please contact the Winnipeg Police Homicide Unit with this information. In the event KRULL has suffered a medical condition; we are again requesting residents to check their personal properties, outbuildings, vehicles, and any green space surrounding their property. 

KRULL is described as a Caucasian female, 5'4" tall, 170 pounds and short dyed blonde hair with a purple streak.  She was last seen wearing black Capri style pants, reddish-orange shirt, dark shoes, hiking boots and glasses.



The investigation is continuing by members of the Homicide Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
