Male In River – C15-147517
As previously released, on July 14, 2015, shortly after 9:30 p.m. the Winnipeg Police Service received several reports of a male in the river near the Provencher Bridge.

Several units, including River Patrol and members of the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Services attended however were unable to locate the male.

On July 22nd at approximately 10:00 a.m. a report of a body in the Red River by the Alexander Docks was received by the Service.

Attending members located the body and have since identified him as the male above.

Family members have been notified and the incident is not being considered as suspicious.

His name will not be released.
