Stolen Vehicle Arrests – R15-69507
Sometime between 9:00 p.m. on September 14th and 3:45 p.m. on September 15th a 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier was stolen from the 200 block of Bronx Avenue.  The theft was reported to police.

On September 17th shortly before 2:00 a.m. uniform members were on patrol when they spotted the stolen vehicle in the area of Spence Street and Cumberland Avenue with two occupants.  The vehicle sped off and was located abandoned a short distance away.  The Canine Unit attended and successfully tracked the two suspects who were taken into custody without incident.

For his alleged involvement, Levon Martin MCKAY, 35 years of Winnipeg has been charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 and Fail to Comply with Probation Order.

Clarence Junior STEVENSON, 22 years of Winnipeg has been charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000 and Fail to Comply Condition Recognizance x 5 for his alleged involvement.

Both were detained in custody.
