Suspicious Male – C15-195533
On September 16, 2015, at approximately 6:30 p.m. members of the Winnipeg Police Service were dispatched to the 100 block of Lake Village Road for the report of a suspicious male.

Officers met with the complainant who advised that her son had been approached by an unknown male twice in the last two days.  The first occurred at approximately 7:15 p.m. on September 15th out in front of their residence while her son and friends were playing football.  The second incident occurred earlier on the 16th at approximately 3:40 p.m. while her son and friend were walking home from school along Chancellor Drive.  In both incidents the male offered candy, which was refused, after which he drove away.  The male made no other comments to the boys.

The male is described as: approximately 40 years of age, 6'1" tall with a skinny build.  He was wearing a light purple hoody and possibly driving a tannish coloured Jeep.

The investigation is continuing by members of the West District Crime Unit. Anyone with information regarding this incident or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-2877 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
