Missing Person Jill Tardiff – Clothing Description -
C15-188218

As previously released, the Winnipeg Police Service is requesting the public's assistance in locating a 61-year-old female, Jill Tardiff. She was last seen in the Old St. Boniface area of Winnipeg on the evening of Sunday, September 6th.

Tardiff is described as: Caucasian, 5'4" tall, 120 pounds with short brown hair that has blonde highlights.  She was wearing a light coloured t-shirt with horizontal stripes, black pants, blue and white running shoes and glasses and was carrying a blue fabric grocery bag.



Police are concerned for Jill's well-being and are asking anyone with information regarding her whereabouts to contact the Winnipeg Police Service Missing Persons Unit at 204-986-6250.


Sexual Assault Investigation – C15-188197
On September 7, 2015, at approximately 5:00 a.m. members of the Winnipeg Police Service were dispatched to the 2000 block of Main Street for the report of a sexual assault that had just occurred.

Officers met with the victim who advised that she had been walking in Kildonan Park when an unknown male approached and attempted to engage her in conversation.  He then pushed her to the ground and sexually assaulted her.  The victim was able to break free and immediately ran home where she contacted police.

The suspect is described as: Caucasian, 5'11" - 6' tall with a slim build, some facial hair and short dark brown hair that is longer on the sides.  He was wearing a dark sweater and dark jeans.

The investigation is continuing by members of the Sex Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6245 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
