Motor Vehicle Collision Involving A Pedestrian – C15-188970
On September 8, 2015, shortly after 8:00 a.m. emergency personnel were dispatched to the area of Marion Street and Rue Youville for the report of motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.
 
A child was located suffering from serious injury as a result of having been struck by an eastbound vehicle.  He was transported to hospital in critical condition.  The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and interviews are on-going.

Marion Street between Des Meurons Street and Rue Youville remains closed to traffic.
 
The investigation is continuing by members of the Central Traffic Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6271 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
