Attempted Murder Arrest – C15-214045
On October 10, 2015 at approximately 6:20 p.m., a 38-year-old female attended to a suite located in the 400 block of Kennedy Street where she made contact with her former boyfriend and his current girlfriend.
 
The 38 year-old female and her former boyfriend, a 55-year-old male, became involved in a verbal dispute. The 38-year-old produced a knife from within the suite and stabbed her former boyfriend, including his current 32-year-old girlfriend, multiple times. The female suspect fled the scene.
 
Emergency services were notified and attended. Both victims were transported from the scene in critical condition. They have since stabilized.
 
Patrol members located the suspect in the area of the 600 block of Spence Street at approximately 9:30 p.m. at which time she was arrested.
 
Members of the Major Crimes Unit continued to investigate.
 
Marilyn Eleanor EDWARDS, 38 years-old has been charged with the following due to her alleged involvement:
 
Attempt to Commit Murder x 2
Possession of a Weapon
 
She was remanded into custody.
