Residential Break & Enter Arrest  R150077397
On October 13, 2015 a 93-year-old resident of a personal care home in the 300 block of Pipeline Road made a report of theft to police.  The woman advised that on a number of occasions money was stolen from her residence. 
     
After an investigation, District 3 Crime Unit detectives arrested and charged a 41 year old staff member.

Lana Lynn CASSIVI has been charged with 5 counts of Break Enter & Theft. 

She has been detained in custody.
     
     

Fire Investigation  C150222704
On October 21, 2015 at approximately 2:30 a.m. emergency personnel were called to a fire in the area of Waverley Street and Sandusky Drive. 
     
A large apartment complex under construction was fully engulfed in flames.  Nearby homes were evacuated as a precaution,however all residents have been permitted to return to their homes.
     
No injuries have been reported. 
     
The fire is still under investigation at this time and damage is estimated at 3.5 million dollars.
