Weapon Arrest – C15-241507
On November 16, 2015 at approximately 1:00 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the 2600 block of Ness Avenue regarding a female in possession of a large knife.

A group of youth from a nearby school were in the area however, a bystander managed to disarm and detain the suspect prior to police arrival. No contact was made with the group and no injuries were reported.

A 14-year-old female was taken into custody and charged with the following: Possession of a Weapon and Fail to Comply with Conditions of an Undertaking.

She was remanded into custody.
