Theft Under Investigation – R15-70492
On September 19, 2015, the Winnipeg Police Service received the report of a wallet having been stolen.

The complainant advised that shortly after 9:00 p.m. on the 18th she had boarded a bus at William Avenue & Tecumseh Street, exiting near Pipeline Road & Maynard Close.  Upon getting home she realized that her wallet was missing.  An undisclosed amount on cash, along with credit cards and other personal identification was in the wallet.

Images of the suspects have been obtained however investigators have been unable to identify them.  As such, they are requesting the public's assistance in identifying the male and female pictured below.

The male is described as: Caucasian, approximately 30 years of age, 5'10" tall with a skinny build.

The female is described as: Aboriginal in appearance, approximately 30 years old, of average height with a skinny build.



 

The investigation is continuing by members of the District 3 Crime Unit.  Anyone with information regarding this incident or the identity of the suspects is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-2848 or CrimeStoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
