Monday, February 1, 2016     Firearm Investigation – C16-21927 On February 1, 2016, shortly after 2:00 a.m. the Winnipeg Police Service received the report of a male armed with a firearm. Officers spoke with the victim who advised that she had been stopped at Lagimodiere Boulevard and Regent Avenue when a vehicle pulled up.  The male driver pointed a firearm at her and the victim immediately fled, driving to the East District Police Station to report the incident.  The victim did not believe that the firearm had been discharged; however subsequent investigation has revealed that her vehicle may have been struck by a bullet. The suspect vehicle is described as an older model pickup truck.  The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit.
