Firearm Investigation – C16-21927
On February 1, 2016, shortly after 2:00 a.m. the Winnipeg Police Service received the report of a male armed with a firearm.

Officers spoke with the victim who advised that she had been stopped at Lagimodiere Boulevard and Regent Avenue when a vehicle pulled up.  The male driver pointed a firearm at her and the victim immediately fled, driving to the East District Police Station to report the incident.  The victim did not believe that the firearm had been discharged; however subsequent investigation has revealed that her vehicle may have been struck by a bullet.

The suspect vehicle is described as an older model pickup truck

The investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information regarding this matter or the identity of the suspect(s) is asked to contact investigators at (204) 986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at (204) 786-TIPS (8477).
