Grow Operations Arrests – R16-0006017 R16-0006404
On February 1, 2016, after a lengthy investigation by members of the Marihuana Grow Operation Unit, with the assistance of Division 11, 12 & 13 Community Support Units and Canine Unit executed Controlled Drug and Substance Act search warrants at the following locations:

200 block of Tecumseh Street- The following was located and seized:

  • 199 marihuana plants  - estimated street value - $222,880.00
  • Grow operation equipment – valued at $8,490.00

 700 block of Toronto Street– The following was located and seized:

  • 160 Marihuana plants – estimated street value - $179,200.00
  • Grow operation equipment – valued at $6,590.00

 500 block of Toronto Street- The following was located and seized:

  • 95 Marihuana plants – estimated street value $106,400.00
  • Grow operation equipment – valued at $12,150.00

  The total amount of seized marihuana is estimated at $508,480.00.

Two, 42-year-old males have been arrested and are facing numerous drug related offences, some of which include: Produce a Scheduled Substance, Possession of a Scheduled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking and Theft Over $5000.00.

Both males were released on a promise to appear.
