Commercial Robbery – Public Assistance Requested – C16-86157
On May 1, 2016, at approximately 6:30 a.m. Winnipeg Police responded to a report of a commercial robbery in the 2500 block of Portage Avenue.
   
Two suspects had entered the business armed with handguns. The suspects demanded, and received a significant quantity of narcotics. The suspects were able to flee the area prior to police arrival. There were no injuries sustained in the incident.
   
The suspects are described as:
   
  1. Male, Caucasian in appearance, late 30's to early 40's in age, 5'9" in height, average to medium build, light brown-coloured eye brows with "crow's feet" around the eyes.
   
  2. Male, darker complexion, 6-foot in height, approximately 200 lbs, dark eyebrows with eyes close-set to one another.
   
The Major Crimes Unit is investigating and is requesting the public's assistance for any information that might assist in identifying the suspects.
