Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision – C16-108584
On May 29, 2016 at approximately 1:20 a.m., emergency personnel responded to the area of the 1900 block of Corydon Avenue regarding a serious single vehicle collision.
   
The investigation has revealed that two males where travelling in a Ford F150 eastbound on Corydon Avenue near Edgeland Boulevard when the collision occurred.
   
It appears that the driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with a building nearby.
   
Both males were transported from the scene in critical condition.
   
A 25 year old male has been pronounced deceased and the other male, also 25 years old, remains in hospital in critical condition.
   
Members of the Central Traffic Unit continue to investigate. Area road closures are expected to remain until this afternoon.
   
Speed appears to be a factor in the collision.
