Saturday, June 4, 2016     Update - Fatal Motor Vehicle Collision – C16-108584 As previously released -On May 29, 2016 at approximately 1:20 a.m., emergency personnel responded to the area of the 1900 block of Corydon Avenue regarding a serious single vehicle collision. The investigation revealed that two males where travelling in a Ford F150 eastbound on Corydon Avenue near Edgeland Boulevard when the collision occurred. It appears that the driver lost control of the vehicle, colliding with several fixed objects including an apartment complex. A 25 year old male passenger was pronounced deceased. The male driver, also 25 years old, was transported to hospital in critical condition. Last night, the driver succumbed to his injuries. Members of the Central Traffic Unit continue to investigate.
