Historical Sexual Assault Investigation – Arrest – C16-104521
Between 1994 and 2007, a male had regular contact with two children who were between the ages of 4 and 14 years during this time frame.

The first victim, who was between 4 and 9 years old was provided pornographic material, inappropriately touched and sexually assaulted from 1994 to 1999.

The second victim was between 4 and 13 years old between 1998 and 2007. The suspect would expose himself and sexually assaulted the victim during this period of time.

The victims recently reported these occurrences to police. Members of the Sex Crimes Unit continued the investigation.

On June 15, 2016 detectives arrested Mike John ZOLDY, 54 years old of Winnipeg and charged him with the following offences due to his alleged involvement:

Sexual Assault x 2
Sexual Interference x 2
Sexual Exploitation
Invitation to Sexual Touching x 2
Corrupting Morals

He was remanded into custody.
