Thelma KRULL Investigation Continues One Year Later – C15-145099

Public Support Still Needed

Members of the Homicide Unit continue to actively investigate the disappearance of 57-year-old Thelma KRULL who was last seen on the morning of Saturday, July 11, 2015.

Thelma went for a walk at 7:23 a.m. It is believed that she walked from her residence to the area known as Civic Park. Thelma arrived at this location at approximately 8:00 a.m., where she experienced some type of distress.

Items belonging to Thelma have been recovered which include her glasses and cellular phone.   

Thelma is described as a Caucasian female, 5'4" tall, 170 pounds and short dyed blonde hair with a purple streak. Investigators would like to remind the public that Thelma was last seen wearing the following items:

  • Reddish – orange t-shirt (this is a bright coloured shirt)
  • ¾ length black Capri style pants
  • Black fanny pack
  • tan / brown hiking style boots / shoes

 
 


Anyone who was in and around the area of Civic Park during the early morning of July 11, 2015 is asked to come forward, if you haven't already made contact with investigators. If you have a suspicion, or a gut feeling about someone who lives in, works, or is somehow associated to the area that may assist the investigation, please contact us immediately.

Investigators are seeking information regarding the identity of the lady walking in the area of Civic Park on the morning of July 11, 2015 as shown in the following surveillance photos:



Also, the following satellite images identify locations at or near Civic park where a male and female were observed on July 11, 2015 at approximately 8:00 a.m. They are described as: Caucasian and in their 30's.

Despite receiving over 240 tips from members of the public, more information is still needed. We truly appreciate the support of the public and members of the media.  The investigation is continuing by members of the Homicide Unit.
