Attempt Murder – Arrest: C16-154955
On July 26, 2016, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Winnipeg Police and Fire Paramedic Services responded to a report of a male being assaulted in the rear lane of the 600 block of Main Street.

A 57-year-old male was transported to hospital in unstable condition. The victim's condition has since been changed to stable but critical.

A short time later responding general patrol and Tactical Support units arrested a suspect in the area of Main Street and Higgins Avenue.

Aaron Bryan HOULE, 33-years-old, has been charged with the following offences:
- Attempt Murder
- Robbery
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order
- Possess Scheduled Substance (Methamphetamine)

Houle was detained in custody.

This investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit. Anyone with information that may assist investigators is asked to call 204-986-6219 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
