Motor Vehicle Collision Involving RCMP Cruiser - C16-228080
On October 31, 2016 at approximately 12:25 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the intersection of McGillivray Boulevard and Kenaston Boulevard regarding a collision involving an RCMP cruiser.

At this time, it's been determined that the cruiser was travelling westbound on McGillivray Boulevard while responding to a call for service in the Headingley, Manitoba area. While attempting to safely enter the intersection with their emergency equipment activated (lights/sirens), a collision occurred involving a minivan and light standard.

The two officers in the cruiser and lone occupant in the minivan were not injured.

Winnipeg Police Service Traffic Collision Investigators in cooperation with the RCMP continue to investigate.
