UPDATE:  Missing Person - Charles McAulay has been safely located
The Winnipeg Police Service would like to thank the public and members of the media for their assistance.
 
As previously released:
MISSING PERSON – CHARLES MCAULAY - C16-255130
 
The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting the public's assistance in locating a missing 82 year old man Charles MCAULAY.
 
Mr MCAULAY was last seen on Monday, December 05, 2016 around 4pm in the Waverley area of Winnipeg but may have made then made his way into the St Francois Xavier/Woodlands area of Manitoba.  **Further information has revealed he later may have been in the La Salle area of Manitoba, later that evening. 
 
Mr. MCAULAY is described as Caucasian, 5'7", average build, short grey hair and prescription glasses.   Mr. McAULAY was last seen wearing a dark sweatshirt with a hood and a British flag on it and navy blue pants.
 
 
Mr. MCAULAY was last seen driving a grey 2012 Chevrolet Cruze LS with Manitoba plate FCM684, similar to the one pictured.
 
 
Police are concerned for Mr. MCAULAY's well-being and are asking anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to contact the Winnipeg Police Service Missing Persons Unit at 986-6250.
