MANITOBA INTEGRATED HIGH RISK SEX OFFENDER UNIT   Winnipeg Police Service / Royal Canadian Mounted Police 1091 Portage Ave, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3G 3K2 Phone (204) 984-1888    Fax (204) 983-2222 Update: Christopher MURDOCK has been arrested without incident by the Manitoba Integrated High Risk Sex Offender Unit (MIHRSOU) on the evening of April 19th, 2016. MIHRSOU is comprised of Winnipeg Police Service and RCMP Officers.     MIHRSOU would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance in this matter, as one of the tips that were received from the public led to the arrest of MURDOCK.      As Previously Released: MIHRSOU Request Assistance to Locate Christopher Edwin MURDOCK     The Manitoba Integrated High Risk Sex Offender Unit, which consists of both RCMP and WPS Members, is requesting assistance from the Public in locating Christopher Edwin MURDOCK.  Police are seeking to locate MURDOCK as he failed to comply with his Long Term Supervision Order and is currently unlawfully at large.   MURDOCK was designated as a Long Term Offender on September 18, 2002 as a result of numerous sexual assault convictions.  On March 28th, 2017, MURDOCK failed to report to his Parole Officer.  Correctional Service Canada issued a Canada Wide Warrant for being unlawfully at large.  MURDOCK has an extensive criminal record which includes several sexual assaults, weapons and violent offences.  MURDOCK has a long history of alcohol and substance abuse.  MURDOCK was recently seen in the Winnipeg area but may be in the Fisher Branch/Fisher River area.   MURDOCK is 49 years old and described as an Aboriginal male, 6" (183 cms), 153 lbs (69 kg), black and gray hair and brown eyes.   If you have any information regarding MURDOCK's whereabouts, please contact the Manitoba Integrated High Risk Sex Offender Unit at (204)984-1888.  After normal business hours, please contact either the appropriate RCMP detachment or the Winnipeg Police Service at (204)986-6222 or Crime Stoppers at 786-8477 or toll free at 1-800-222-8477.   Cst.
