Homicide Investigation – Arrest: C17-26739
 
As previously released: 
 
On February 6, 2017 at approximately 11:15 p.m., members of the Winnipeg Police Service responded to the 500 block of Magnus Avenue regarding an injured male. 
 
A 28-year-old male, Canon Franklin BEARDY, was located suffering from multiple serious injuries and transported to hospital in critical condition. He later succumbed to his injuries. 
 
Members of the Winnipeg Police Homicide Unit entered into an investigation and on February 16, 2017 arrested a 14-year-old male. He was charged with Second Degree Murder
 
On March 23, 2017, members of the Homicide Unit arrested a 16-year-old male. He was charged with Second Degree Murder, Possess Proceeds of Crime and Flight from Peace Officer and a number of related offences. 
 
On May 25, 2017, members of the Winnipeg Police Street Crime Unit located the third suspect in this matter. Joshua LECLERC, 20-years-old, of Winnipeg has been arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder and Breach of Recognizance
 
Homicide Investigation – Update: C17-110021
 
As previously released:
 
On May 23rd, 2017, at approximately 3:15 p.m., emergency personnel responded to a report of an injured male in the 300 block of Kennedy Street.
 
An adult male was located outside an apartment block suffering from what appeared to be an upper-body stab wound. He was transported to hospital in critical condition where he succumbed to his injuries.
 
The victim has since been identified as Jarso Boku ANO, a 22-year-old male of Winnipeg.
 
This investigation is continuing by members of the Homicide Unit. Anyone with information that may assist investigators or who may have been in the area at the time of the incident are asked to call 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
