Update: Arrest - Male Wanted - C160249563
As previously released:
On November 28, 2016, the Winnipeg Police Service and RCMP responded to two separate shooting incidents involving three victims.
   
The first incident occurred in the 400 block of Pritchard Avenue involving a male who was shot and later succumbed to his injuries. The 39-year-old male victim has been identified as Benjamin Franklin TRAVERSE.
   
Prior to fleeing, the suspects robbed two additional victims and then forced them into a vehicle and drove them to the area of Raleigh Street between Glenway Avenue and Foxgrove Avenue in East St. Paul, Manitoba. It was at this location where the two were shot before the suspects fled the area in the same vehicle.
   
The investigation continued and on January 6, 2017 members of the Major Crimes Unit, General Patrol, and the Tactical Support Team located and arrested James Andrew JEWEL, 26-years-old of Winnipeg. He was charged with Attempt Murder x2, Kidnapping x2, Robbery with a Firearm X2, and Robbery.
   
On December 7, 2016 a Canada wide warrant was issued for the arrest of Michael Taylor FLESS, 30-years-old.
   
On June 16th, 2017 investigative members of the Waterloo Police Service located and arrested FLESS and executed the Canada wide warrant.  He has been charged with: Second Degree Murder, Attempt Murder x 2, Kidnapping X2, Robbery using a Firearm X2 and Fail to Comply with Probation.
