Assault with a Weapon - Arrest: C17-267425

On November 27, 2017 at approximately 6:45 p.m., Winnipeg Police received the report of a female shot inside an agency in the 400 block of Selkirk Avenue. Tactical Support Team members attended and learned that an adult female had been shot in the back area with a pellet gun.  The suspect had fled the scene. The victim sustained minor injuries and did not require hospitalization. 

On November 28, 2018 District 3 officers located and arrested the suspect.

A 17-year-old female has been charged with:

  • Assault with a weapon
  • Possess Weapon
  • Pointing a Firearm
  • Fail to Comply with Sentence X3

She has been detained in custody.
