Serious Assault - Investigation: C18-16457
On January 23, 2018 at approximately 10:30 a.m., the Winnipeg Police Service was alerted to an assault in the 300 block of Portage Avenue. Officers attended and located a 17-year-old victim with serious facial/head injuries. The male was transported to hospital in stable condition. He was treated for multiple facial injuries and released.

Officers learned that the victim was waiting in a bus shelter when he was approached by an unknown male, viscously attacked and robbed.

 

Video footage of the suspect has been obtained and investigators are asking anyone with information that may assist to contact the Winnipeg Police Service at (204)986-6222 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).   


Homicide Investigation –
Public Assistance Requested: C18-13242  
On January 18, 2018 at approximately 5:45 p.m., emergency services personnel responded to the report of an injured female in the 400 block of Furby Street.

General Patrol officers attended and identified an adult female suffering from a stab wound to her lower body. The victim was transported to hospital in critical condition.

The victim in this incident has since succumbed to her injuries. She has been identified as Angel BEAULIEU, 22.

A suspect has now been identified. The Winnipeg Police Service Homicide Unit is asking for the public's assistance in locating the following individual.

Lanessa MOSKOTAYWENENE, (18) 1999-09-06 is the subject of arrest warrants for both Manslaughter and Aggravated Assault.

 


   
MOSKOTAYWENENE is not to be approached. If anyone has information regarding her whereabouts, or has any information that may assist investigators they are asked to call investigators at 204-986-6508 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
