Weapons - Arrests: C18-22361

On April 14, 2018, members of the East District and Division 11 Community Support Units, Street Crime Unit, Tactical Support Unit and K-9 Unit executed a search warrant on a residence in the 500 block of Alfred Avenue.

As a result, the following items were seized:

  • A loaded sawed-off 12 gauge Winchester shotgun
  • Additional 12 gauge shotgun shells

George Alan GUIMOND, a 38-year-old male has been charged with Possess Firearm Knowing its Possession if Unauthorized, Possession of Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm and Possession of Firearm, Restricted/Prohibited Weapon or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order.

A 15-year-old male has also been arrested and charged with Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm with Ammunition, Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized, Fail to Comply with Sentence and Fail to Comply with Undertaking X2.

Both males remain in custody.
