Wednesday, June 6, 2018 Assault Police Officer – Arrest: C18-118525   On June 5, 2018, at approximately 9:20 p.m., Winnipeg Police general patrol units responded to a report of a disturbance in the 800 of Simcoe Street.    Upon police arrival and uniformed officers announcing their presence, a male opened the suite door slightly and discharged pepper spray at the 2 officers. The officers were contaminated but were able to pull back with minimal effects.    Numerous additional units responded including the Tactical Support Team.
