High-Risk Sex Offender – Arrest: R18-33532

The Manitoba Integrated High-Risk Sex Offender Unit (MIHRSOU) is a joint forces unit of the Winnipeg Police Service and the RCMP. This month they made several arrests of previously convicted sex offenders.

Apay OGOUK, a 34-year-old male, was released from federal custody on statutory release on April 10, 2017. He was serving a sentence of three years and six months for Aggravated Sexual Assault. The offences took place in Winnipeg and Calgary. He is considered a high risk to re-offend in a sexual manner against females.

Upon his release, OGOUK resided in Winnipeg.

Between February 2018, and May 23, 2018, Ogouk was involved in an intimate relationship with a female in her 40's. As a result of that relationship Ogouk was charged with Aggravated Sexual Assault on June 5, 2018. Ogouk has been remanded in custody.

MIHRSOU investigators would like to speak with anyone who may have been in a relationship with Ogouk since April 2017.

Investigators can be contacted at 204-984-1888.
