Drug Investigation Update – Further Arrests –
R14-74073

As released on December 20, 2014, since mid-October of 2014 members of the Winnipeg Police Service Street Crime Unit have been involved in an investigation regarding drug dealing by members of the B-Side street gang.
 
As a result of multiple investigative techniques utilized, along with the execution of a Controlled Drugs and Substances (CDSA) Search Warrant on December 10th in the 600 block of McKenzie Street, several people were identified and arrested for their participation in drug trafficking.  They were identified as:
 
Intisar DZINIC (21), Stevie Victoria HANNAH (24), Jarette John LAQUETTE (28) & Jeremy James John LAQUETTE (26), all of Winnipeg.
 
All four were detained in custody.
 
Two males, 18 & 21 years along with two females, 18 & 20 years, all of Winnipeg were released via Promises to Appear.
 
The investigation continued and further arrests have been made.
 
On December 29, 2014 a 19-year-old male from Winnipeg was located and arrested for his alleged involvement.  He is facing charges of Traffic in Scheduled Substance - COCAINE x 2 and was later released via a Promise to Appear.
 
On January 3, 2015 three others were located and arrested for their alleged involvement.
 
Fabian BUSHIE, 19 years of Winnipeg has been charged with Traffic in Scheduled Substance – COCAINE and Fail to Comply Condition Recognizance x 4.
 
Brittany Lynn LAQUETTE, 25 years of Winnipeg has been charged with Traffic in Scheduled Substance – COCAINE X 3 and Fail to Comply Condition Undertaking x 4.
 
Brendan Shane MURDOCK, 20 years of Winnipeg has been charged with Traffic in Scheduled Substance – COCAINE X 4, Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime and Fail to Comply Probation Order x 4.
 
All three were detained in custody.
