Break & Enter Arrests – C15-155197
In the early morning hours of July 25, 2015, members of the Winnipeg Police Service were dispatched to the area of Watt Street and Washington Avenue for the report of person(s) unknown breaking into a garage.

Multiple units, including Canine, attended and three suspects were located and arrested without incident.  All were found to be in possession of stolen property.

Members of the East District Crime Unit continued with the investigation.  They were able to determine that the three accused were responsible for ten separate garage break-ins.  They include:

  • three in the 200 block of McIntosh Avenue
  • 200 block of Poplar Avenue
  • 200 block of Union Avenue
  • four in the 500 block of Washington Avenue
  • 500 block of Ottawa Avenue

Two vehicles on Jamison Avenue were found to have been entered as well.

A 33-year-old male, along with a 14-year old male & 15-year-old female, all of Winnipeg, have been charged with numerous property related offences for their alleged involvement.

All were detained in custody.
