Wanted Male Arrested - Martin Louis PATRICK – R15-62863
On August 21, 2015, the Manitoba Integrated High Risk Sex Offender Unit (MIHRSOU), a joint forces unit of the Winnipeg Police Service and the RCMP, requested assistance from the Public in locating Martin Louis PATRICK, 32 years of age. Police were seeking to locate PATRICK, a designated High Risk Sex Offender,as he had an outstanding Canada Wide Warrant for failing to comply with Long Term Supervision Orders and was unlawfully at large.
 
At approximately 10:30 p.m. members located PARTICK in the 300 block of Salter Street where he was arrested without incident.
 
He was later detained in custody.
 
The Winnipeg Police Service would like to thank the media and public for their assistance in this matter.
 
 
Stabbing Investigation – C15-175738
On August 22, 2015, shortly before 5:00 a.m. emergency personnel were dispatched to the 1st 100 block of Donwood Drive for the report of an injured male.
 
An adult male was located suffering from apparent stab wounds.  He was transported to hospital in critical condition.
 
Interviews are on-going and no further information is available at this time.
