Sudden Death Investigation – C16-4251
On January 7, 2015, shortly before 3:30 a.m. emergency personnel were dispatched to the St. Vital Bridge near Osborne Street and Dunkirk Drive for the report of an injured male on the river.

Responding personnel located a 24-year-old-male on the ice, suffering from apparent injuries sustained after falling from the bridge.  He was transported to hospital in critical condition where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The incident is not being treated as suspicious.  

His name will not be released.
