Monday, May 23, 2016     Motor Vehicle Collision – C16-103651 On May 23, 2016, at approximately 2:45 a.m. Winnipeg Police were involved in an incident which culminated in a motor vehicle collision in the area of McPhillips Street and Redwood Avenue. The investigation into this incident is being overseen by the Independent Investigation Unit of Manitoba as prescribed by their mandate.  Any inquiries regarding this incident should be directed to their offices.    Shots – C16-103667 On May 23, 2016 at approximately 3:30 a.m. Winnipeg Police responded to a home in the 2100 block of Gallagher Avenue regarding the report of a firearm discharge that had occurred. Attending officers confirmed damage to a residence due to multiple shots fired. No one was injured as a result of the incident. This investigation is continuing by members of the Major Crimes Unit.
